The changes in the weather as the temperatures change can affect your skin care routine more than you think. In the summer, you may use a very light moisturizer. In fall and winter, you may want to switch to a more hydrating product. Your fall morning routine should include these steps.
Step 1 - Cleanse
You should use a good cleanser that gently exfoliates and hydrates your skin. Washing away the dead skin cells will give you a more youthful appearance and make your skin ready for moisturizers.
Step 2 - Tone
Today’s toners address a lot of facial needs. Use a toner with rosewater and vitamin E for hydration. Other ingredients that can improve skin include chamomile which is soothing, tea tree oil that fights bacteria and aloe vera which calms inflammation and fights redness.
Step 3- Treat Your Skin
Adding a serum to a good skin care regimen can boost your efforts in the drying months. Hyaluronic acid serum contains vitamin C, an antioxidant that evens out your skin tone, hyaluronic acid, a powerful moisturizing ingredient, and Matrixyl 3000, an ingredient that increases collagen synthesis. If you want even more skin conditioning and repair, use two to three drops of argan oil Timeless in the hyaluronic acid serum.
Step 4- Moisturizer
After the serum, apply a moisturizer, preferably one with SPF. Even people with oily skin may need moisturizer in the dryer fall and winter months.
Enjoy new makeup colors in the fall. It’s time to pull out the colors of fall, burgundy, sunflower gold and chocolate brown that coordinate with your fashion choices. At night, at the very least you should remove makeup and use an eye cream. We recommend using serums and moisturizers at night, too. You just don’t need SPF in your nighttime moisturizer.
